The Arlington High School boys soccer team is now a win away from a second consecutive trip to the state Class AA Final Four.

The defending state Class AA champion Admirals defeated Ithaca 1-0 in Wednesday’s state regional semifinal behind a goal off a penalty kick by Eric Eastman in the 25th minute the game.

Unbeaten in 35 matches dating back to last season, the Admirals (19-0-2) will play Section 9 champion Monroe-Woodbury in Freedom Plains on Saturday. The winner will advance to the state semifinals the following weekend in Middletown.
