Saturday’s results: Hamilton upsets Rye Neck

Hamilton squeaked out a 2-1 win at Rye Neck on Saturday on Luis Rodriguez’s second-half goal off a feed from Edisson Moscosso.

The Red Raiders’ Giovanni Gutierrez opened the scoring on a give-and-go with teammate Alpotchino Andre.

The Panthers answered back quickly on a goal by Sal Valencia before the end of the half.

Rye Neck had an opportunity to tie late in the match but the ball found the post instead of the net as the game came to a close.

Jose Espinosa had seven saves for the Red Raiders.

Rye Neck’s Angelo Spedafino had three saves.
