Thursday’s schedule

One of the more highly anticipated games of the early portion of the season will take place at Byram Hills today, and I’ll be there to take in the action. The Bobcats will host Pelham in a rematch of last year’s Class A quarterfinal — a game that I believe features two of the top teams in the class this season. The Pelicans will have a chance to get a measure of revenge, while also cementing their status as a legitimate section title contender. But it’s rare for anyone to go into Byram and get a win, and the Bobcats will be looking to make an early statement.¬†For live updates and postgame coverage,¬†follow me on Twitter@vzmercogliano.
