The announcements were made for several awards at last night’s All-Section dinner, with some of the top performers from this past season being recognized. Before I get to those, on a personal note, I want to thank Matty Allen and the entire Section 1 coaches association for the recognition last night. It’s been a pleasure working with all of you coaches and covering all of you athletes for the past two seasons. I’m not kidding when I say I had no idea that was coming.

Vincent, we miss you on the girls side so much but never more than we do this year….the coverage on the girls side is non-existent. I’m not sure what honor you got last night but I’ve no doubt it was very well deserved. Is there any way you could please just pass along the all-section and league MVP honors for the girls side? So many of us keep going onto the girls blog to request something/anything and it seems to be falling on deaf ears….hey, whatever they are paying you to cover the boys-side, i’m sure I could organize a collection to pay you more to come back and cover the girls again!!!!
