As expected, the pending snow and heavy winds in the forecast for today has forced Arlington and Scarsdale to postponement their semifinal, which is the only remaining semi that still needs to be played. I’ve been told that all finals except for AA will remain on Thursday at the same times and locations. The Class B final will be played at Brewster at 4:30 p.m., with the finals for Classes C and A at John Jay at 4:30 and 6:30, respectively. There has been no word yet on when they’ll have the AA final, but they have a little bit of leeway because the AA champ has a bye into the regional final on Tuesday. My guess is they’ll try to play the Scarsdale-Arlington game on Thursday, with the final on either Friday or Saturday. As soon as I know more, I’ll let you know.
UPDATE, 11:12 a.m.: According to the BOCES website, the Arlington-Scarsdale game will now be played tomorrow at 2 p.m. The Class AA final is now scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Friday at Brewster.
